It is important to note that the commitments reflect the extent of planning and design activities
undertaken with approximately $6.1m of commitments raised as of the 28 October 2016.
The project delivery approach for 2016/17 is to have the majority of projects well underway within
the second and third quarter of the financial year. The final quarter will be utilised for finalisation of
the current programme and planning for the next financial year’s programme.
There are a number of projects that are nearing completion of the planning and design phases in
preparation for the construction phase and these include:
Whole of Shire Road Pavement reseal programme
Noosaville Foreshore Park Furniture Renewal
Noosaville Wyuna Park Playground renewal
Whole of Shire Bus Stop disability programme
Pomona Skate Park Shade Structure
Noosa Heads Park Road Boardwalk Renewal
Peregian Beach Rufous St Digital Hub
