RECOMMENDATION
That Council note the report by the Director Planning and Infrastructure to the Services &
Organisation Committee Meeting dated 8 November 2016 providing an update on operations of
the Planning & Infrastructure Department for the period 1 July to 30 September 2016.


REPORT
The adopted organisation structure includes the following branches under the Planning and
Infrastructure Department:

                       Building and Plumbing;
                       Civil Operations;
                       Infrastructure Planning and Design;
                       Planning and Environment;
                       Strategic Land Use; and
                       Disaster Management

This report provides a brief summary regarding recent performance, current priorities and future
initiatives for the Planning and Infrastructure Department.
