5 STORMWATER
The stormwater related aspects of the proposed development are detailed in the Stormwater
Management Plan prepared under separate cover.
6 EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL
All erosion and sediment control devices will be designed and implemented in accordance IECA
guidelines and best practice engineering principles. Further detail on Erosion and Sediment Control
techniques and measures is contained within the Stormwater Management Plan prepared under
separate cover.
7 WATER SUPPLY
Inspection of the water network from the survey shows the following services:
An existing reticulation water main running along Hofmann Drive in the Western verge
It is proposed to provide a new connection off the existing water main located in Hofmann Drive to the
proposed water meter location. The size of the proposed water service and exact location will be
determined in consultation with the hydraulic consultant and Unity Water during the detailed design
stage of the development.
The existing and proposed water infrastructure in the vicinity of the site is shown on MPN Plan 7700-
DA.02 attached in Appendix 3.
8 SEWER
Inspection of the sewer network from survey shows the following:
existing sewer connections to the proposed development;
The existing sewer connections run through an easement through the lots to the South and along the
driveway to the proposed development site.
This sewer will be the site’s discharge location.
The proposed sewer is shown on MPN Plan 7700-DA.02 attached in Appendix 3.
9 ROADWORKS
A new left turn lane off Hofmann Drive will be constructed for the proposed development as shown on
the traffic functional layout within the Traffic Engineers report. The footpath will be realigned to
accommodate the road widening and connection into the site.
The property boundary will be realigned to accommodate the proposed road widening and footpath
realignment as shown on 7700 DA04 in Appendix 3.
