The relocation of the four tennis courts has allowed the retention of the 19 Non-juvenile Koala Habitat
Trees - a decision which is to be applauded. However the proposal to use the approximately 60m wide
corridor abutting Resort Drive to the north of the hotel pool area as a Passive Recreation Area should
be reconsidered.

The area should be treated as a reserve with no ability for the guests and visitors to the hotel to easily
access the area. The suggestion of all-weather bush pathways with decks, seating, and artwork will
result in the disturbance of any koalas or other fauna that lives in or uses the area. Our wildlife, which
is under constant threat, should be protected wherever possible.

This paragraph incorrectly states the proposal includes 3 tennis courts, not the 4 as per the proposal.

DISCUSSION – Figure 4 (Page 14)

Figure 4 shows the location of the Hazardous Vegetation Effective Edge Line and the distance to the
corners of the nearest building.
