   6.2.3 On-site Vehicle Noise Assessment

The noise report states that deliveries and waste collection will access the loading dock via a new
service road from the south. Deliveries and waste will be moved between the hotel and the
clubhouse using electric motorised golf carts. As a result, the expected noise levels would be
   relatively low.

This is contradictory to the plans which show a loading dock in the hotel building and an associated
turning bay which is serviced by an extension to the existing service road.

The report also states that the increase in deliveries and waste collection activities at the clubhouse
is not expected to have a significant noise impact but recommends that they be limited to daytime
   hours 7am to 6pm.

The report fails to examine the noise impact on the residents of Parkridge who overlook Resort
Drive and will overlook the proposed hotel. Currently, deliveries and waste collection activities
occur anytime from 6.30 am onwards, even on Sunday. The waste collection activities at the
clubhouse loading dock, in particular, are noisy as they arrive, back up, and depart up the hill in
Resort Drive. There must be some consideration of this impact on the hotel’s neighbours i.e.
   Parkridge and The Fairways.

Similarly there is no consideration of the increased road noise that will impact residents of The
Oasis from the additional traffic along Links Drive either during the construction phase or when the
   hotel is operating.
