INFRASTRUCTURE & SERVICES COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 26 MAY 2015
Bus Shelter renewals – Construction of concrete slab for Bus Shelter at Noosa Pde.
2. Projects that will continue beyond financial year
It is important to note that there are two major projects that will continue on beyond 30 June
2015 and will carry-over into the 2015/2016 financial year. These projects have significant
budget amounts totalling $2.8m and impact on the overall project delivery and completion
results. These projects include:
• Noosaville Munna Point Bridge Stage 2 $1.4m
• Pomona Rifle Street Flood Mitigation $1.4m
3. Summary
The overall delivery of the capital program continues to increase in momentum with all of the
projects either completed or commenced prior to the end of June. The escalation in
construction activities will continue over the remaining weeks of this financial year.
The current year to date expenditure including actuals and commitments totals $13.8m. This
is still below the original forecasted expenditure profile. However, the continued effort on
project delivery will see the majority of the 2014/15 capital works projects either completed
or significantly commenced by the end of June 2015.
Previous Council Consideration
The capital works program has previously been distributed to Councillors (document titled
“Capital Works Program 2014/2015”).
