Log in to see the plans as drawnThe reactive nature of equipment failure and the initial development of condition monitoring indicates
there is potential difficulty and limited scope to predict breakdown-related maintenance. However, in
pulling these forecasts together the following general assumptions have been identified.
• Proposed Capital Renewal Program will be funded as per the current Council model adopted;
• Renewal works will be prioritised according to asset condition;
• The condition and physical footprint of the SRS as stated as of June 2017;
• Current maintenance funding levels will meet service level requirements;
• Renewals, maintenance and isolated failure replacement is generally ‘like for like’;
• Where a renewal must be provided to a higher standard, the difference in cost between a ‘like
for like’ renewal and the higher standard is to be treated as an asset upgrade.
• Depreciation is in accordance with Council policy;
• There is no allowance for CPI as the continuing revaluation and condition inspection process
will make adjustments for current rates.
