37 Gibson Road, Noosaville 10872 B L003 19-01-2011 19 January 2011 Such systems have been used successfully for low level discharge of cooking exhaust in many instances. It is proposed this relatively clean exhaust would be discharged via grilles in the facia of the roof and not via roof cowls or fans having a visual impact. The discharge points will be in the vicinity of 8-9 metres (in most cases) from the south boundary and more from the west boundary. In regard to odours from preparation areas, the operation of cooking exhausts will place the cooking and preparation areas under negative pressure thereby minimizing the escape of odours from doors or windows adjacent the boundary. Outdoor eating areas will be at least 12 metres from the boundary and shielded from the boundary by the building height and its awnings. This will allow any odours from this area (minimal) to be dissipated.
