The proposed disabled car parking arrangements are in accordance with AS2890.6 (2009) and are therefore
considered suitable.
Item 13 - Refuse Collection Point
Indicate on the plans the proposed refuse collection point and the required manoeuvring area for the refuse
collection vehicle.
Response
The proposed development plan has been revised to accommodate the following refuse collection facilities:
• Temporary bin storage area measuring 1200mm wide by 9000mm long located between car parking
spaces 45 / 64 and the propose MRV bay
• Medium Rigid Vehicle (MRV) bay measuring 3500mm wide by 9000mm long relocated two the west
in order to accommodate the temporary bin storage area.
It is proposed that tenants store their wheelie bins prior to bin collection allocated times within the temporary
bin storage area in order for refuse collection vehicle (RCV) to empty the bins from the MRV bay.
Details of the propose refuse collection facilities are presented in Figure 4.
