Construction activities cn this site will occur in distinct stages.

®
©

A. Initially, clearing is required, itself in three stages.
i. Groundcover and mid storey
ii. Non habitat trees
iii, Habitat trees
B. Buik earthworks
C. Civil works — external and internal, etc.

We suggest the CMP submission should be staged accordingly, with matters
addressing the upcoming works and controls in place to enable the safe completion of
those soon to be commenced works.

Significant and slow work is necessary in clearing the site ir: the manner conditioned in
the approval. For example, Condition 24 “Groundcover anc! midstorey will be cleared
utilising a slasher with a mulching head attachment or similar’.

We deem it is premature to require a CMP addressing civil works before clearing of the
development site is near complete. Requiring such prior to a re-start meeting is an
unnecessary time arid cast burden, making the significant clearing work very difficult to
commence.

Furthermore, tree ard vegetation clearing will be mostly internal, apart from the road
reserve south of the proposed new road. Pottery Street is an Access and Local Road
under Council's road hierarchy general standards. Traffic is minimal south of Red
Street, providing access to a total of 5 properties. Traffic management controls will be
considerate of the road usage. Pedestrians are unable to use the existing western road
verge for access due to Council’s vegetation and trees. The eastern side is generally
clear and more favourable for pedestrians.
