The applicant has not fully demonstrated compliance with the Acceptable Outcomes detailed
above as no Risk Assessment or Disaster Management Plan have been provided addressing the
above outcomes or manage the risk for future residents. The preparation of such an assessment
is considered a reasonable condition to ensure that future residents are aware of possible risks
and that emergency services are able to service the area. It is noted that this issue relates to the
entire Cooroibah area and is not limited to the subject site and the recommendation includes
referral to Councils Disaster Management Coordinator for further review.
Cooroibah Approvals
Substantial areas of the Cooroibah area are included in the Rural Residential zone and a number
of applications have been lodged under the Noosa Plan 2020 in the Cooroibah area as detailed in
the table below:
