Consultation
External Consultation - Community & Stakeholder
Consultation was undertaken with Noosaville, Noosa Junction and Hastings Street business
associations regarding the outcomes of the consultation process and possible changes moving
forward.
The proposed local law will be placed on public notification for a period of 21 days. Business
groups and other key stakeholders will be notified of the draft local law changes and individual
meetings with these stakeholders will be offered.
All submitters who provided contact details will be notified of the draft local law’s public
notification.
Internal Consultation
Internal consultation has been undertaken within the Environment and Sustainability Department,
Corporate Services Department, and Executive Services Department. A Councillor workshop
was held to discuss the public submissions and options to respond to issues raised in submission
and amend the draft local law.
