A wide central median treatment is a potential solution to improve capacity at this intersection,
but those treatments are more appropriate a t-junctions rather than at cross intersections.
Hence, it is recommended this intersection be upgraded to a roundabout to overcome the
identified capacity issue. This would also assist with speed control along David Low Way.

With a single lane roundabout, year 2036 operating conditions are predicted to be DOS 0.71
and 0.54 in the AM and PM peaks respectively during holiday periods.
