                 2.     INFORMATION REQUIRED

                 The information requested is set out below:
                 Issue – Grade of Proposed Internal Road
                 Walsh Consulting Engineers’ Road 1 Longitudinal Section (SK04, Rev. A) dated Dec 2024
                 details a section of proposed road between CH203 – CH300 at ~19-20% grade.
                 Council is unlikely to accept a road of this grade for this distance.
                 Note – Section 8.5.3 of Austroads’ A Guide to Road Design Part 3 recommends a maximum
                 grade of 9-10% where operating speeds are 60 km/hr. Council recognises that the proposed
                 road alignment limits the opportunity to reduce the proposed grade.
                 Information Required
                 1.     Provide an amended design that reduces the longitudinal grade of all future Council
                        owned roads in accordance with relevant industry standards. The amended design must
                        be designed a suitably qualified person (RPEQ).
