Budget Actuals
NCS operates under funding agreements with both the State and Federal Governments. The
requirements of the various funding agreements dictate that NCS should aim to perform to a
‘zero bottom line’ standard, i.e. that all funding received should be fully expended on relevant
programs and services. At this point, the financial results show a net overspend of $17,330. It
should be noted however, that this interim result has been caused by uncontrollable depreciation
and internal charges expenses being collectively $38k over budget. This issue will be further
investigated prior to finalising year-end figures.
