2. Upgrade of the stadium’s four indoor basketball backboard systems with new
electronic retractable and height adjustable systems. The new systems are capable
of operating at heights of both 2.4 and 3 metres to enable both junior and senior play
and have been well received by local players and the Noosa District Basketball
Association (NDBA). Staff have also benefited from the electronic system which
enables safer operation and speedier changeover of the stadium from one activity to
another.

Works continue to improve the centre’s functionality and aesthetics, with upgrades in the
