Log in to see the plans as drawnBushfire Management Plan v1 NCES REF: J000953 Lot 189 on MCH1261 – 64 Reserve St, Pomona 1 INTRODUCTION 1.1 Background This Bushfire Management Plan has been prepared to manage the degree of potential bushfire hazard and associated risk acting on Lot 189 on MCH1261 located at 64 Reserve Street, Pomona, Qld (herein referred as ‘the site’). 1.2 State Planning Policy Bushfire Intensity Overlay Map The site is mapped under the State Planning Policy (SPP) (refer to Plate 1) as containing the following Potential Bushfire Intensity areas: • High Potential Bushfire Intensity area; and • Potential Impact Buffer. Plate 1 – SPP Bushfire Intensity Mapping Overlay 1.3 Development Proposal The applicant is seeking to construct a primary dwelling in the western site extent. The Plan of Development is included as Appendix 1. The dwelling is proposed within the NC Bushfire Overlay hence triggers an Material Change of Use application which in turn triggers the need for this Bushfire Management Plan (Noosa Council 2021). © 2021 3
