An application is proposed for a Food & Drink Outlet (mobile pizza van) at 31 Maple Street Cooroy. The
van is proposed under the 21m² covered area.
The applicant advises the proposed use is of a mobile nature and will only operate from the site 2 days
per week (Friday and Sunday) between the hours of 11am to 7pm. The applicant further advises that the
use will not involve any building works, and therefore will have limited assessment required other than the
appropriateness of the use on the site.
The applicant has requested a 50% discount due to the limited assessment required.
There would be minimal assessment required as there are no built form changes. It is therefore
recommended that the 50% be applied.
Previous Council Consideration
The fees and charges for development applications for this period were considered by Council at
the Special Budget Meeting in June 2021.
Finance
The agreed variations to development application fees had no significant impact on the budget
for 2021-22.

The fee variations are considered to be reasonable and adequately justified.
