PLANNING & ORGANISATION COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 17 JUNE 2014
The amount reimbursed will be based on the published Australian Tax Office business use of
motor vehicle cents per kilometre method, and kilometre rate applicable at the time of travel.
Councillors will be provided with an appropriate log book to assist in this process.
Some other minor formatting amendments (including renumbering) have been made to the policy
to reflect the updated Council Policy template.
An amended policy has been provided at Attachment 1 for Council’s consideration.
Previous Council Consideration
This policy was originally adopted by Council at the Ordinary Meeting on 2 January 2014.
Finance & Risk
The proposed change to the policy will provide a minor reduction in the budget for Councillors’
expenses.
