The lowest priced submission was tendered by Airmaster Australia (Qld) Pty Ltd, but the total hours
nominated (dedicated) by Airmaster Australia (Qld) Pty Ltd to perform the services required were
lower than the tendered average and median.
The tender evaluation panel completed the evaluation process and considered Gealy's Air-
Conditioning & Refrigeration to be the most advantageous to Council, presenting the best value for
money. Gealy's Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration tender submission is most favourable based on
their tender demonstrating the following:
       High level of experience and capability providing maintenance and servicing of HVAC systems
        services to Noosa Shire Council for over 5 years;
       Adequately resourced with an acceptable quantity of hours nominated (dedicated) to perform
        the services;
       A detailed methodology demonstrating their understanding of the scope; and
       Contributing to the local economy with the business based in Noosa.
Attachment 1 – Evaluation Spreadsheet presents the evaluation outcome of the conforming
submissions against the above criteria.
4.        Next Steps
The Trustee for Gealy's Investment Trust t/as Gealy's Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration are the
incumbent contractor to Council and therefore will continue with the new replacement contract after
the existing contract expires on 30 November 2021.

Finance
The maintenance and servicing of HVAC systems contractor is engaged under a schedule of rates
contract utilising existing budget from capital and operational expenditure. Expenditure against this
contract is estimated to be approximately $175,000 per year.
