Treatment, natural durability classes and combinations thereof shall conform to AS 1604, TUMA (Timber
Utilisation and Marketing Act Qld 1987) and TMA (Timber Marketing Act NSW 1977).

A certification of treatment shall be provided.

Timber pavement finish
Where timber is used as a floor finish ensure timber decking coating comply with the slip resistance
requirements of the National Construction Code (NCC) and Australian Standards AS/NZS 4586 2013, AS
HB 198 2014. Provide complying slip resistance test results to the Superintendent.


9.3.        CONCRETE WORKS
General
This specification sections applies for insitu-concrete and pre-cast concrete elements.

All components of concrete works such as concrete mix, water-cement ratio, concrete strength, pigment
quantities, formwork types, release agent, sand type and sealer shall be kept consistent throughout the
project to avoid differences between the elements.

9.4.        PAVEMENT PROFILES – CONCRETE

    PA01: Pavement Profile –Concrete – On Grade – BY CIVIL

    Material – In-situ concrete. 125mm thickness. Normal class. Minimum grade N32.
    Supplier – Boral or approved equivalent.
    Colour – Grey cement
    Surface Finish – Broomed. Apply finish after control joints have been tooled
    Slip rating – Wet Pendulum Class rating ‘P4’ and slip resistant R11. All areas steeper than 1:14 to be Wet
    Pendulum Class rating ‘P5’ and slip resistant R12.
    Sealer – Penetration, non-yellowing protective sealer for concrete floors. CCS Streetscape or approved
    equivalent.
