That Council note the report by the Executive Officer to the Planning & Organisation Committee
Meeting dated 8 December 2015 and:
A.      Agree to engage a multi-disciplinary consultancy to prepare a Master Plan for the Noosa
        North Shore Beachfront Campground in order to inform Council of requirements,
        associated costs and staging options for upgrading the facility retaining a “nature-based”
        low impact approach to the site and style of facilities provided; and
B.      Include additional funding of $50,000 in the next quarterly budget review process for the
        project.

That Council note the report by the Property and Facilities Manager to the General Committee
Meeting dated 1 June 2015 and authorise the exercise of the option to extend the current
management agreement for the Noosa North Shore Beach Campground for a further one (1)
year period commencing 1 August 2015.

Finance & Risk

Undertaking a tender process and subsequently appointing a new Manager before the Master
Planning, redesign and review of the management model is complete, may result in inefficiencies
and could impact on the cost recovery position of the business activity.
