The proposed development would not be considered to generate a significant impact on any MNES.
In this instance a referral to the minister for the proposed development is not necessary.

3.4 State Remnant Vegetation and Flora Mapping
The State (DNRM) administers clearing of regulated vegetation under the Vegetation Management
Act 1999. The Regulated Vegetation Management Map (Department of Natural Resources, Mines and
Energy) shows the site as a Category X (white shaded area) area (Exempt clearing work on Freehold,
Indigenous and Leasehold land) (refer Extract A1) 4. There is no regulated vegetation (remnant
regional ecosystem) or essential habitat mapped within the subject land. Regulated vegetation
(including regrowth) and essential habitat are mapped to the east and south of the subject land (refer
Extract A2). No further requirements under the VMA.

The Pre-clearing Regional Ecosystems mapped across the site 5 showed most of the site mapped as
RE12.9-10.1 (Tall open forest with Eucalyptus resinifera, E. grandis, E. robusta, Corymbia intermedia
on sedimentary rocks – green shading) with a small area in the south of the site mapped as RE12.3.5
(Melaleuca quinquenervia open forest on coastal alluvium – blue shading) (Extract B).
