3.6 Council Mapping
The subject land, including the existing business centre, parking area and associated
development/infrastructure is mapped as Environment Enhancement (light green shading)
under the Biodiversity Overlay (refer Extract E). Land in the south and to the west is mapped
as Environment Protection Area (dark green shading) and includes part of the industrial estate
and residential developments. It is acknowledged that development of this landscape has
superseded the biodiversity mapping. A Riparian Buffer Area (dark stippling) is associated
with Eenie Creek and the reserve to the south.

3.7 Potentially Occurring Threatened Species
The State Wildnet database 8 identifies no known records for plants or animals (listed as threatened
under the regulations of the Nature Conservation Act 1992 and/or Environment Protection and
Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999) within 5km of the subject land (Table 1 – flora, Table 2 - fauna).
The majority of these species would either be restricted to habitats that do not occur within or
adjacent to the subject land. Likelihood of occurrence is discussed further.
