Town Planning Report
28 Eenie Creek Road, Noosaville and parts of the road reserves of Hofmann Drive and Walter Hay Drive
The site is wholly located within the Urban Footprint.
The Urban Footprint includes existing urban areas and greenfield areas suitable for urban development. It
defines the limits of urban development up to 2031.
Noosa is identified as a MRAC and Maroochydore as a Principal Regional Activity Centre (PRAC) within the
network of regional activity centres identified by the SEQRP 2009.
MRACs are intended to complement PRACs, by serving a catchment of sub-regional significance and
accommodating key concentrations of employment. MRACs are intended to be multi-functional centres of
activity that provide business, service, major retail and convenience functions. As a secondary sub-regional
focus of administration, MRACs are also to accommodate district or branch offices or government and cultural
and entertainment facilities of regional significance.
5.4 State Development Assessment Provisions
As the proposed development requires referral to the Department of State Development, Infrastructure and
Planning (State Assessment and Referral Agency), as discussed in Section 5.2.2 of this report, the State
Development Assessment Provisions (SDAP) are applicable.

10.1 Tidal Works, or Development in a Coastal Management District State Code
Module 17: State Transport Infrastructure Protection

A response to these provisions is provided in Section 6.5 and Appendix A – Statement of Code
Compliance.
