INTRODUCTION This Stormwater Quality Management Plan (SWQMP) has been prepared in response to Information Requests for the following applications: 1. Reconfigure a Lot application (REC13/0146) at 55 Lake MacDonald Drive, Cooroy, and 2. Preliminary Approval for Material Change of Use (MCU 13/0226) and Reconfigure a Lot (REC 13/0148) at Pearsons Rd, Cooroy. Each of the issued Information Requests by the then Sunshine Coast Regional Council, requested an overall Stormwater Quality Management Plan showing how stormwater from both developments will be treated to meet current best practice load based reduction targets and drainage requirements. As such this Stormwater Management Plan (SWQMP) has been prepared in accordance with the: Water Sensitive Design Code in the Noosa Plan; Water Sensitive Urban Design Technical Design Guidelines for South East Queensland, published by Health Waterways; and Environmental Protection (Water) Policy 2008. The lots contributing to the overall development and subject to this report are shown in Site Location Plan, Figure 1.1 and are described as follows: 1. Lot 136 and Lot 137 on MCH978 and Lot 1 on RP173883 located at 55 Lake MacDonald Drive – which is reconfigured into 32 lots of which Stage 1 (four lots) and Stage 2 (3 lots) have been approved, and 2. Lot 135 on MCH978 located at Pearsons Road Cooroy – will be reconfigured into 25 lots. This SWQMP considers the new hardstand areas, including roadways, footpaths, allotments, and new roof areas for the proposed 57 lots. This report also aims to demonstrate that the proposal complies with relevant codes and guidelines and that the storm water runoff will not change the surrounding hydrology. The Model for Urban Stormwater Improvement Conceptualization (MUSIC) has been used to assess the suitability of various treatment devices and to model existing and predicted pollution export loads and concentrations from the development areas. 55 Lake MacDonald Drive – Stage 1 to 5 pg. 6
