1 Introduction
MRG Environmental (MRG) has been requested by Verve Building Design and Concepts (VerveBD) to
conduct an acoustic assessment of the proposed mixed use development at Myall Street, Cooroy
(Real property description Lot 4 on SP248479).

This report is a revision of our previous assessment report 0009-R1-02 dated 16/06/2014. Since this
assessment the site plan has been altered and revised operational information supplied. This
assessment also considers the acoustic items within information request provided by Council on
19/08/2014 where relevant.

This report assesses the following:

         Reverse Amenity – Road traffic noise assessment from surrounding state controlled roads,
          being the Bruce Highway and Cooroy Connection Road, onto proposed sensitive uses.
         Amenity – Noise assessment of proposed commercial/retail activity onto surrounding
          existing and proposed sensitive receivers.

1.1 Project Description

The proposed site is at Cooroy Connection Road (Myall Street), Cooroy, as shown in Figure 1.1.
