    8. Item 19.2 – Please clarify
Performance outcomes give something to measure against to identify when a corrective action needs to be taken.
At the moment a lot of the report just talks about the actions/steps a maintenance crew needs to implement – but
doesn’t give the target of what is trying to be achieved.
The performance indicators are actually detailed in the letter report No.14158W.07L dated 8 October 2015– so just
need to be transferred across to the new report.
The corrective actions will guide maintenance crews of what to do when performance indicators are not being met.

Specific indicators from the approved letter report was provided in the SMCMP within the body of the report (for
example Section 2.3.3 below) and in the inspection and maintenance checklists. I’ve attached the WQCP inspection &
Maintenance Requirement tables for WQCP taken out of our report as an example of how the Performance Indicators
have been integrated with recommended corrective measures.

Item 19.3 – Please note that fish movement is provided between deep water zones through connectivity of the pond.
We don’t understand how ponding will prohibit fish movement.
Item 19.3 has to do with how to prevent wheel ruts etc that happen after design/construct is complete.
Access maintenance tracks with reinforced turf have been provided to prevent wheel ruts during operational phase.
The inspection checklists attached indicates that that if depressions or mounds are found >100mm then filling, re-
profiling and if necessary replanting will be undertaken. This is predominantly to avoid mosquito habitats forming but
also prevents isolated ponds that may trap fish. Design of the pond and access between deep water zones allows for
fish movement.

    9. Item 19.4 – Standard construction methodology accounts for these items and are also highlighted in the
       report.
Please detail or make reference to this in the SWMP also
The SWMP outlines analysis undertaken for design of stormwater management devices to meet objectives.
The SMCMP report outlines the maintenance procedures.
References will be provided in SMCMP to highlight our responses to these specific items.

    10. Item 19.5 – Please clarify
This section is referred to in the SWMP but is not provided
This is a reference to Section 4.4.4 and will be updated in the amended report.

    11. Item 19.6 – Some macrophyte species have been provided on plans however, we cannot provide a more
        extensive plant list.
Pamela advised “cannot” is a typo and the list of species can be provided
Noted

    12. Item 19.7 – Monthly inspections during construction and establishment have been specified in the report.
Where do they include inspecting for birds and depressions?
Section 2.2.1 indicates that monthly inspections will be undertaken during establishment and construction. This also
provides details regarding birds and depressions.

   13. Item 19.8 – Refer to report for construction protocol for all water quality treatment devices.
What sections?
Construction protocols are detailed in Section 2.2 and 3.2 of the SMCMP.

Happy to discuss over the phone when you are free.

Kind regards,
                                                            4
