The deliveries occurring to tenancy 20 will occur in a suitable manner. An updated Swept path and
servicing assessment has been prepared and included in the revised Traffic Impact Assessment and
an extract is provided in Figure 27. This can be demonstrated in the amended proposal plans
prepared by Cambray Consulting. Please refer to the amended traffic layout plan in Appendix F for
more details.
22. Please provide a refuse/waste management plan demonstrating where refuse bins would be
stored and collected for each tenancy and details of quantities, type of material for the
development and at a minimum be in accordance with Planning Scheme Policies PSP 09 –
Waste Management and PSP 11 Waste Management Plans.
Response to sub-item 22:
A waste management plan has been prepared by MRA Environmental in accordance with the
Planning Scheme Policies PSP 09 – Waste Management is provided in Appendix I. It is noted that
the PSP 11 Waste Management Plans policy is not applicable to our proposed development.
The following waste management matters have been addressed:
• Details of operational waste, including general waste and commingled recyclable waste streams;
• Bin store arrangements, capacities and transfer processes.
As the site will be retained and operated as a complex there will be a central management who will be
responsible for the engagement of commercial cleaners / groundskeepers who will have the ability to
carefully manage waste stream efficiently. This includes ways to transport waste bins around the site.
when required.
All waste streams will be collected by private contractors. The service vehicles associated with the
refuse collection matters have been addressed in the waste management plan. Based on the
assessment provided, waste management as part of the proposed development is suitable and
compliant with the relevant planning scheme requirements.
Figure 36 below provides information on where the refuse bins are located, stored and collected for
each tenancy or where shared waste collection points are proposed. Four (4) separate waste
storage and servicing areas will be provided on site.
