Fire hydrants and fire hose reels will be installed along the eastern and southern
perimeters of the boundary, noting one is already present along the eastern elevation
of the existing building;

A specific Bushfire Evacuation Plan has been prepared for the project (refer NCES
BEP 2022) to assist in the management of people during a bushfire emergency;

A linear suite of low flammability trees have been retained within the NSC approved
fire break to the east (predominantly she-oaks and cheese trees) and within Ozcare
land to the south, which offer a low flammability radiant heat flux and ember screen
against fire and ember ingress from an encroaching fire; and

Future landscaping within the site can comprise low flammability species to further
reduce the likelihood of spot fires development adjacent to the building.
