2.3 Vegetation within the site
The majority of the site is cleared of vegetation precluding an area of mature trees over cleared
understorey in the site’s north-western extent.
2.4    Vegetation external of the site
The landscape surrounding the site is dominated by vegetated rural allotments and National Park
which are contained within the Environmental Management and Conservation Zone. The vegetation
in the wider landscape was observed to predominantly contain tall open Eucalypt forest.
Plate 4 depicts the general extent of bushland fuel sources surrounding the site. Vegetation hazard
characteristics are described in detail in Section 3.2.
