   Opportunities
    Higher service levels
 CPI is the indexation method utilised under current agreement and is familiar to
           Council.

 Service levels not developed collaboratively with SLSQ.

future lifeguard service levels. Service levels were comprehensively and collaboratively
reviewed for all beaches and seasonal periods with specific emphasis on risk mitigation and
minimising ratepayer impact. The development of Option 3 was the collaborative outcome of
the meeting and as a result, service level increases are proposed to include:

   9. Conclusion
Lifeguard services are a high profile and important part of Council’s service provision to the
community and SLSQ have been a key contract partner in the provision of a safe bathing
and beach environment over many years. SLSQ’s RFQ response for Lifeguard Services
satisfactorily addressed all assessment criteria and confirmed SLSQ’s capability to deliver
lifeguard services to the required service level standards expected by Council and the
   community.
