2. SITE DETAILS
2.1. Background
Council approved the original 18 hole golf course in November 1989 (TPC 2262).

Council approved a 9 hole extension to the course over Lot 3 on RP223289 in March 1995
(TPC 2811).
2.2. Site Description
The site is located on the southern fringe of the Noosaville locality, with Goldburg Court accessed
via Hollett Road. Lot 3, which will contain the expanded golf course holes, is largely cleared,
contains a detached house and has been used as a rural residential property and lightly grazed.
The lot is relatively flat near its Goldburg Court frontage and slopes gently moderately toward a
creekline that runs south-to-north through the middle of the lot. A mix of native riparian vegetation
along the creekline represents the only remaining vegetation on the site.

The creek’s flows derive from lowlying lands within Weyba Refuge to the south and continue
through the existing golf course to the north, under Lake Entrance Boulevard and into Eenie
Creek.
