PLANNING & ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 11 FEBRUARY 2020
The degree of visual impact varies depending on the aspect, topography, natural features, time of
day, light, sun angle, weather and backdrop. It is also important to note that being visible and being
a significant part of the view are two distinct differences when considering the degree of impact on
the sensitive receptor. It is noted that some properties view up to 2 other towers and high voltage
power lines that are many kilometres away and generally blend into the background of the distant
landscape.
