fulfilling consumer needs.
The Noosa Civic should be allowed to expand to
become the major shopping precinct for Noosa Shire,
not just Noosa Heads. Doing so would help toward
stemming the flood of cash and jobs to Maroochydore.
At present we have no choice but to go to the Sunshine
Plaza, the only nearest big shopping centre.
Lack of diversity in shops at the Noosa Civic currently.
The present Noosa Civic shopping centre is far too
small, and has very little to offer
There are only two cafes where you can eat indoors.
Another supermarket is badly needed.
Noosa Civic should include the kind of store we are all
travelling to Maroochydore for.
Residents currently incur further costs in fuel and
pollution by having to travel long distances outside our
region of Noosa
As accommodation providers, we have to send guests
to Maroochydore as they do not find the current street
shopping, or the civic in its current form, suitable.
The residents of this area are relatively poorly serviced
in comparison to the communities in the Maroochydore
or Caloundra areas.
People would come from far and wide as the only large
shopping centre is at Maroochydore.
With the surrounding areas growing at such a pace, an
expansion of Noosa Civic is required.
