EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Not applicable.

RECOMMENDATION
That Council note the report by the Procurement and Contracts Advisor to the Planning &
Organisation Committee Meeting dated 15 September 2015 and:
A.                       Establish a register of prequalified suppliers (RPQS) for trade services and general
                         maintenance for those suppliers listed in Attachment 1 for a term of 1 year commencing
                         25 September 2015; and
B.                       Authorise the Chief Executive officer to approve options to extend the RPQS:
                         1.   For 3 terms of up to 12 months each;
                         2.   For a potential completion date of the RPQS of 24 September 2019.



REPORT
Council’s annual expenditure on trade and reactive general maintenance services exceeds
$400,000 and as such warrants establishment of a register of prequalified suppliers (RPQS) to
ensure compliance with the Local Government Act 2009 and Local Government Regulation 2012,
and to facilitate efficient and quality service delivery within the scope of services.

The scope of works under this RPQS is structured in 13 categories:

1.                       Carpentry
2.                       Cabinet making and shop fitting
3.                       Building maintenance and minor construction
4.                       Plumbing and gas fitting
5.                       Painting
6.                       Electrical
7.                       Data cabling
8.                       Metal fabrication and repairs
9.                       Gutter cleaning
10.                      Fencing
11.                      Glazing
12.                      Pressure cleaning
13.                      Graffiti removal
