PLANNING & ORGANISATION COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 15 SEPTEMBER 2015

Council invited tenders for establishment of the RPQS for Trade Services and General
Maintenance in the Noosa News and Sunshine Coast Daily.

The tender documents were downloaded 288 times and a total of 55 responses were received.

Due to a poor response rate for the painting category this category was readvertised and an
additional two (2) responses were received.

Submissions were evaluated by a panel under probity in accordance with stated evaluation criteria.

As a result of the evaluation of the submissions received three categories (cabinet making, metal
fabrication and glazing) were withdrawn from the RPQS due to submissions not meeting Council’s
needs. These service areas are considered low in volume and therefore will be dealt with under
standard procurement process.

A copy of the evaluation worksheets are available to Councillors upon request.
