The tenant will be responsible for collection and disposal of refuse to the designated bin and recycling areas
located on the site plan. All bins are to be stored and located in the bin area. The provision of bins and
changes in uses on the site will be reviewed in association with the business operations every 6 months.
The tenant is responsible for recycling and waste education with the objective of waste minimisation and re-
use of waste. The tenant is also to coordinate with waste contractor the pickup times and have bins
organised so as not to result in disruption to business.

3.1 Waste Storage and Recycling Area
The waste storage and recycling areas are located internally within a screened and sealed enclosure.
Access is provided to the facility by a loading bay suitably sized to accommodate a front loading skip bin
collection using Council’s 9.9m template vehicle to enter and leave the site in a forward direction.
The bin area will be constructed in accordance with Council Planning Scheme Policy 09 – Waste
Management and includes a bunded area (no more than 100mm in height) for bin washing, which is drained
to the sewer.
The type of waste and storage required are:
a) bins for waste;
b) bins for recyclables; and
c) tyre recycling storage area.
