Activation of Field                                     The frontline of disaster operations in the Noosa Council
                                                        area is the Field Command Centre (FCC). The FCC is used

                                                        in coordinating and managing resources within the Noosa
                                                        Council Infrastructure Services Department during a disaster or
                                                        emergency. The FCC is tasked by the Local Disaster Coordination
                                                        Centre (LDCC) and provides situational reporting as required. A
                                                        plan for the activation and operation of the FCC is maintained
                                                        by Infrastructure Services along with defined trigger points and
                                                        agreed actions for Council depots.
