    RECOMMENDATION
    That Council note the report by the Civil Operations Manager to the General Committee
    Meeting dated 12 October 2020 and:
    A.   Award tender 1920T149 Separable Portion A Mowing Services to APG Group Pty
         Ltd;
    B.   Award tender 1920T149 Separable Portion B Weed Control Services to Nature Zone
         Landscaping & Property Maintenance Pty Ltd; and
    C.   Award the contracts for an initial term of two (2) years, with an option to extend for
         three (3) terms of up to twelve (12) months each. The options to extend will be at
         Council’s own discretion and subject to the contractor’s ability to meet the
         requirements under the contract.

    REPORT
    This report considers the provision of mowing and weed control services managed by the
    Parks & Gardens team. Contractors are used to perform all mowing on public land within the
    Noosa Shire, as well as weed control adjacent to major roads. The tender was split into two
    separable portions as follows:
        Separable Portion A - Mowing Services
        Separable Portion B - Weed Control Services
    These are lump sum contracts for an initial period of two (2) years. There will be the option
    extend for a further three (3) terms of up to twelve (12) months at Council’s discretion.
    Council received ten (10) conforming tender submissions. After evaluation, it is
    recommended that the contracts be awarded to:
        Separable Portion A – Mowing Services – APG Group Pty Ltd
        Separable Portion B – Weed Control Services – Nature Zone Landscaping & Property
         Maintenance Pty Ltd.

    1.   Tender Process
    The invitation of public tenders for 1920T149 Mowing and Weed Control Services was issued
    through VendorPanel Public Tenders on Thursday 23 July 2020 and advertised in both
    Noosa Today and online with NewsCorp Australia (Noosa News) on Thursday 23 July 2020.
    At tender close on Tuesday 18 August 2020, submissions were received from the following
    ten (10) conforming respondents listed in alphabetical order:
