   Risks & Opportunities
   Both recommended contractors are incumbents with excellent track records of performance
   and safety in delivering the required services at the sites within the contract areas. Their
   existing knowledge of the contract sites and specific requirements presents minimal risk to
   Council for services in high profile areas which quickly attract complaints if not performed to
   high standards.
   There is an element of risk with having one supplier undertaking the entire mowing program,
   if they encounter financial strain which may happen if any portion of the program gets
   adjusted due to dry weather etc. Following evaluation, an independent ‘risk of failure’
   evaluation was undertaken on APG Group Pty Ltd through a third party (Illion Australia Pty
   Ltd). This evaluation concluded that APG Group Pty Ltd has a very low risk of failure in the
   next twelve months.
   In relation to Separable Portion B, Nature Zone Landscaping & Property Maintenance Pty
   Ltd have offered to undertake the weed control services at night, which is an approach they
   have previously undertaken. Undertaking these works at night is highly advantageous,
   minimising traffic congestion and complaints on these major roads as works will not occur
   during the busy daytime hours.
