RAMP DOWN ARKING 3.6 Active and Public Transport 3.6.1 Active Transport The proposed development will not have a negative impact on the existing pedestrian or cyclist facilities. It is recommended that cycle parking be provided (approximately eight spaces) for staff and customer use. This should be located in close proximity to the supermarket entrance, in an area with a high level of casual surveillance. 3.6.2 Public Transport The proposed development will not have a negative impact on the existing and proposed public transport services and facilities. In fact, the additional public transport demand generated by the development is likely to increase the viability of local services.
