             (a) a continuous solid gap-free structure, constructed of glass,
                 concrete blocks, bricks or fibre cement sheeting, or
                 balustrade, other than gaps required for drainage purposes
                 in accordance with the Building Code of Australia

             (b) highly acoustically absorbent material treatment for the total
                 area of the soffit above the balcony.
