1 INTRODUCTION Calibre Consulting (QLD) Pty Ltd has been commissioned by Palm Lake Resort to prepare a Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP) to support the Operational Works Approval for Stage 2 and subsequent stages of the Palm Lakes Retirement Community. The development is located on 2 & 4 Lamonts Road and 19 & 20 Trading Post Road Cooroy, within the Noosa Shire Council (NSC) Local Government Area. This submission follows the Stage 2 Operational Works Approval (OPW16/0203) for the site. This project has an extensive history, involving an interim reduced site layout (excludes property on 20 Trading Post Road/Lot 4 on RP215922), numerous submissions to and correspondence with Council to achieve approval of the stormwater management strategy. Issue A of this report was provided to Council in September 2016 to support the Operational Works Approval for Stage 2 and subsequent stages of the overall site layout. This was in accordance with Framework Letter Report (No. B14158.W.07L dated 8 October 2015) and addressed Council’s Decision Notice MCU approval conditions. The current issue (B) of this report, has been undertaken to address the stormwater items of the Stage 2 Operational Works Approval Conditions (Application No. OPW16/0203 dated 9 January 2017). Since the previous issue, liaison has been undertaken with Council Officer Cherie O’Sullivan to update the stormwater quality management strategy to treat external catchments. A revised strategy was developed alongside Council as per Table 1-1 and was subsequently approved. As per Stage 2 Operational Works Approval Condition 41(a), the stormwater strategy is to reflect the MUSIC model with reference SC2G Palm Lakes provided to Noosa Council on 12 December 2016. Details from this approved MUSIC model have been incorporated into this updated report. Also refer to the email correspondence between Council provided in Appendix I for details. Any changes to the report other than this introduction and conclusion have been indicated in indented italicised text. 16-001014-01B | STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN COOROY RETIREMENT COMMUNITY, TRADING POST (SWMP) | PALM LAKE RESORTS ROAD, COOROY |1
