Bushfire Hazard Assessment

Methodology

 An assessment of the bushfire hazard was undertaken using a comprehensive desktop review.
Resources such as historic and current aerial photography, Google street view images, the Noosa Plan
(2016) Natural Hazards Overlay mapping, the State Planning Policy (2016) Natural Hazards, Risk and
Resilience Bushfire Hazard Mapping and State Regulated Vegetation Management mapping were used
as part of the desktop analysis.
 A site inspection was undertaken on the 14th February 2019 to identify the status of vegetation within
and around the site and to determine the likelihood of a bushfire on the site presenting risk to life and
        property.
