Local Government Infrastructure Plan (LGIP) by 30 June 2018 in order to continue issuing
infrastructure charges and impose conditions about trunk infrastructure on development.

proposed LGIP amendment as outlined in the report; and

iii. Proceed to public consultation of the draft LGIP on receiving the Minister’s approval.
REPORT
At the Ordinary Meeting of 28 August 2014, Council resolved to amend its current Priority
Infrastructure Plan (PIP) to a Local Government Infrastructure Plan (LGIP) to comply with
amendments to the Sustainable Planning Act 2009 and corresponding new Statutory Guideline
03/14.
In developing the LGIP, progressive planning reports were provided to Council for review and
endorsement of individual components in order to sequentially advance the next LGIP section,
i.e.:
Priority Infrastructure Area (PIA) maps;
Planning and Development Assumptions;
Desired Standards of Service (DSS) for each “trunk” network;
Plans for Trunk Infrastructure (PFTI) and maps for each “trunk” network detailing the
existing infrastructure and proposed future works;
Schedule of Works methodology and Infrastructure Network Demand Assumptions and
Conversions for each “trunk” network.
