Previous Council Consideration
Council previously amended The Noosa Plan with an expectation the amendment would permit a
secondary dwelling in conjunction with a dwelling house and for both dwellings to be separately
tenanted, whether or not by relatives or members of the same household. These amendments
will deliver that intent.

Consultation
External Consultation - Community & Stakeholder
Public consultation is required as part of the planning scheme amendment process consistent
with the Minister’s Guidelines and Rules under the Planning Act 2016.
Internal Consultation
The amendments to correct minor errors and inconsistencies have been at the request of the
Development Assessment Manager.
