Ecological Impact Report v1 NCES REF: J001116 Lot 3 on RP179954 & Lot 2 on RP175675 – 40 & 56 Donnellys Road, Ridgewood QLD 6.0 CONCLUSION This Ecological Impact Report has been prepared in lieu of a detailed Ecological Assessment Report to assess the anticipated impact of a proposed 2 into 2 lot development application (boundary realignment) of the common boundary between 40 & 56 Donnellys Road RIDGEWOOD. The vegetation contained within the assessment area exhibited two separate vegetation communities: VC1 – Native hardwood plantation with mown grass understorey & VC2 – Exotic vegetation areas. Both VC1 and VC2 were not considered to be representative of a native vegetation area and/or an Ecologically Important Area. The proposal essentially aims to shift the alignment of the boundary from the edge of the pine plantation to the centre of the pine plantation, where it’s expected to impact less native vegetation by avoiding the scattered mature native trees within the western site extent. The proposed boundary realignment reduces the number and area of native vegetation exposed to exempt clearing hence results in a theoretical increase in native vegetation protection on the site. The proposal is therefore considered acceptable and no further assessment in deemed necessary. 16 ©2022
