Place Program
Developing an organisational framework and policy approach to place making and coordinating cross
organisational resources including specialist technical and professional services to undertake place making,

Housing Program
Prepare and update the Noosa Housing Needs assessment, Prepare and implement the Noosa Housing Strategy,
Monitor the housing market , Partner with community Housing Providers and not for profit organisations to provide
social and affordable housing, Obtain state and federal grant(s) for the delivery of housing, Engage with key
stakeholders in the housing industry, Advocate to governments for social and affordable housing investment and
delivery, Undertake planning scheme amendments to facilitate housing outcomes to meet Noosa’s resident needs
and Encourage Noosa Shire community to use existing housing stock more efficiently.
