The following additional services were included in the initiative (Note: Council funds the full cost
of these services).
     064 (1 bus) – Peregian Beach to Noosa Heads from 8am to 6pm
     065 (2 buses) – Noosa Junction Park & Ride to Noosaville from 9am to 4pm.
Due to inclement weather arising from Cyclone Ita in North Queensland, one of the Route 065
shuttles was cancelled for the first four days (15 April to 18 April), resulting in a saving of $3,600
to Council.

2.      Passenger Data – Bus Services

The following estimated passenger data received from TransLink indicates that passenger
numbers for Easter 2014 are the highest on record, with 32,943 boardings recorded during the 8-
day period. Passenger numbers may actually be higher than those recorded, due to reliance on
manual ‘button pushing’ to record boardings. Staff are aware of at least one instance where the
driver was not counting passengers at the time of boarding.
